Groucho, Chico, Harpo, Zeppo
The four Marx Brothers are available on dvd. All 13 movies are available, but there is a catch. You have to buy 3 items. The first five movies are in one box set called "The Marx Brothers Silver Screen Collection." The next seven movies are in a box set called "The Marx Brothers Collection." Their last movie, "Love Happy," is available only as a single dvd by itself. Their comedy is the best. All their movies are worth seeing anytime you have the chance. I always loved watching these late at night, back when AMC used to show them. This kind of humor just doesn't exist very much anymore. Everything now leans towards romantic-comedies. Will there ever be another Marx Brothers? Certainly not. But there could be more comedy teams. I know it would work. People still love this stuff. Even the Three Stooges still airs in reruns. Ensembles seem to be a thing of the past; even Friends is now off the air, except for reruns. We need more of that. Anyway, we can still see the old greats, if we know where to shop.
